When was Snow Valley created?Even though my member join date says November 27, 2004, Snow Valley (or Winter Sports forum as it was called, initially) only opened its doors December 13, 2004. Gradually, the place changed and with it came the name Snow Valley which was adopted as the place's name when our
website was created back in August and the snowvalley.ws domain was purchased.

I am new to these type of forums. How can I learn how they work? There are a number of tools available for you on here to help you get started with these forums.
First of all, you can take a look at our
Invision Boards 101 topic for an overview of the board's main features and how they work.
Secondly, you can head over to the
Help pages for more information concerning the board.
If you are still having trouble, feel free to send me a Personal Message by
clicking here. I would be more than happy to help.
And, in case you haven't yet, hop on over to our
Introduce yourself topic and tell us a bit about yourself so we can get to know you better!

My PM inbox is empty but it is telling me that it is fullThis is a bug with the InvisionFree software that we have no control over unfortunately and, therefore, cannot fix. Your best solution is to create another account just for PMs iif you prefer keeping your previous account. If you don't, you can always PM me if you'd like to use the same user name with the new account.

What are PDF files? As you may have noticed, alot of the information available for Winter Sports are in PDF format. As can be found on Adobe's
PDF info page, PDF stands for Portable Document Format and "is the published specification used by standards bodies around the world for more secure, reliable electronic document distribution and exchange". They normally originate from a Microsoft Word document but with the added incentive of being more compact and thus easier to exchange.
To read PDFs, you need a specific program called Adobe Reader, which is a free software provided by Adobe at their
website. You can go straight to the download page
here.

Who designed the forum? The skin is the work of a user named Zeus00 at
IF Skinzone. It has been modified by me throughout the months.
The team icons were designed by a good buddy of mine, FalconDawg, a very good graphics designer. The fancy little "WS" watermark in the posting windows is also of his doing.
The Buttons are the work of Egomednog also at
IF Skinzone.
The little envelopes next to the topics were found at
Invisionize although they are not there anymore.
The forum markers were edited by me from a number of different sports-related images.
The banner and most of the extra coding on the forum are done by myself.
The scripts used on this site have different authors: Mercury and Stefan from
IF Support, the good people at
iFusion, namely James, and
Dynamic Drive.
